Earn Your Degree in TWO Years

Accelerated Degree Program

Earn Your Degree Through Academic Study and Practical Ministry Training

Our Accelerated Degree Program is designed for students who desire a more intensive path toward ministry preparation and graduation. This program combines prescribed academic book studies with supervised practical ministry experience, allowing qualified students to complete their degree requirements in an accelerated format while gaining valuable hands-on training in real ministry settings.

The Accelerated Degree option requires the successful completion of 60 credits of prescribed book studies together with 60 credits of practical ministry training. This pathway is intended for serious students who are ready to devote themselves to both biblical learning and active ministry development. Through this model, students are not only grounded in Scripture and doctrine, but are also shaped through real-life ministry service, leadership experience, and accountability in the local church or approved ministry context.

The practicum component must include no fewer than 10 contact hours per week, with a required total of 1,000 hours completed over a 24-month period. These ministry hours are intended to provide meaningful, structured, and sustained involvement in practical ministry. Students may serve in areas such as pastoral ministry, teaching, discipleship, evangelism, administration, outreach, worship, chaplaincy, or other approved ministry functions, depending on the nature of their placement and calling.

Each practicum placement must be sought out by the student, who is responsible to secure an appropriate ministry setting. However, final approval of the practicum placement must be granted by the school before the student may proceed. This approval process helps ensure that the placement meets the college’s standards for ministry training, supervision, accountability, and educational value.

During the practicum period, students are required to submit monthly ministry records documenting their hours, duties, and progress. These reports must be verified by the student’s lead pastor or ministry director to confirm faithful participation and satisfactory progress in the ministry placement. This ongoing reporting process provides accountability and allows the school to monitor the student’s development throughout the program.

The Accelerated Degree Program offers a unique opportunity for motivated students to move efficiently through their studies while receiving substantial ministry formation. It is possible for a student in this program to graduate within two years, having completed the combined 60 academic credits and 1,000 hours of practical ministry training. This makes the program especially well suited for those already active in ministry, those preparing for leadership, or those seeking an intensive route to ministry credentialing and education.

This program reflects our commitment to preparing men and women not only in knowledge, but also in character, service, and ministry effectiveness. At our Bible college, we believe that true ministry preparation involves both sound biblical education and faithful practical experience. The Accelerated Degree Program is one way we help students pursue both with purpose and excellence.
